The Seeds of Intention are Ready to Spread

Two years ago there were just three of us and the idea of becoming a non-profit had not yet

surfaced. We purchased a patio paver in the feral cat patio to help raise funds to support the Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) efforts. Little did we realize that this paver was the seed of intention for CATpassionate Village.

In 2020, we knew we wanted to do our best for the cats of the Village. We wanted them to have a healthy diet, to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated, to have shelter from storms and cold weather, to be safe and have access to veterinary care when needed.

Looking back and assessing where we are today, we feel we have achieved our unofficial goal.

Now, we are ready to expand our efforts in the greater Lutz area, providing support to others who want to do what we do. That has always been among our stated goals—our intention.

What kind of support can we provide? We can loan or purchase traps, teach how to trap, cover the cost of spay-neuter-vaccinations at low-cost TNVR clinics, help recover TNVR’d cats and even help with providing food.

If you have concerns regarding a feral cat colony in the greater Lutz area and wish to help them, please message us through our Facebook page (facebook.com/catpassionatevillage) or send us an email at catpassionate@gmail.com.
