It has been nine days since Copper was last seen. He disappeared sometime after his feeding on July 4th. His long-time friend Clancy clearly misses him and seems to search for him.
When the Village was first established, Copper and Clancy were two of the original residents of the first Village location. Later, they moved to a secondary, larger, nearby colony that they have called home for at least two years.
Clancy is the more shy of the two. Copper always seems to instill confidence and comfort in him.
This is the second time Copper has gone missing this year. The first time was when he suffered a terrible trauma that has left him handicapped. For that story, see Copper's Miracle posted here earlier.
In Copper's current absence over the last several days, Clancy has been traveling between the two Village locations. It's as though he is searching, once again, for his long-time friend.
This video is of the two sharing a meal together. We hope and pray that the two get to share more meals together soon.
