A Typical Week

The Care We Provide

This is Twila. She and more than 30 other cats of the Village are fed twice a day--morning and evening--every day. It takes about 40 pounds of dry food and 28 cans of wet food  mixed with the dry every week. .

Pavilion Family

Every Day

We feed Purina One Urinary Tract Health since we have so many male cats who are susceptible to urinary tract infections. We try to stretch this food by combining Cat Chow Gentle for those that have skin issues. Friskies Farm and Tasty Treasures canned food are mixed with the dry to make it more palatable

Onyx

January 2022

Onyx fell beneath the wheels of the truck of one of our feeders. He disappeared for two weeks. When he surfaced, he clearly needed vet care. He is seen here receiving one of two injections at the ER Vet on Super Bowl Sunday. See the Feral Cat Culture Blog for his story.

Pepper

February 2020

Pepper had an eye injury that never healed and only got progressively worse. It took a long time to capture him, but when he was, the attending vet said his eye had to be removed and it was. See the Feral Cat Culture Blog for his story and a video of how medication was administered.
